After running their own printing business for 18 years, Eric and Karen Peters became interested in real estate investment and purchased their first investment property in 1996, with Eric joining the Real Estate Investment Network (REIN) in 2000 and Karen in 2004. With a passion for coaching, Eric and Karen were among the first Real Estate Investment Advisors (REIAs). In addition to real estate expertise, Eric and Karen bring business and people skills to the table. Rather than just answering your questions, they guide you to find the answers for yourself. As investors, Eric and Karen began with the “buy, renovate and flip” model. Since 2003 they have specialized in multi-family (apartment buildings), and recently purchased a Mobile Home Park. Throughout their career, they have owned over 140 doors and self-manage their properties, making them intimately familiar with landlord and tenant issues and have essentially “seen it all.”

In 2017, Eric and Karen won the REIN Renovator of the Year award and the Multi-Family Investor of the Year award. They have also earned their Bronze (3 properties), Silver (8 properties), Gold (17 properties) and Platinum (50 properties) pins from REIN. They are members of the Alberta Residential Landlord Association, the Edmonton Police Crime Free Multi-Housing Program and the Manufactured Home Park Owners Alliance of British Columbia.

When they are not working, Eric enjoys puttering around in his home shop and Karen enjoys music, gardening, cross-stitch and paper embroidery. Eric and Karen are also avid volunteers in their church community and like travelling together.
